RING JOINT GASKETS
A solid metal gasket, precision machined from single solid piece to the required shape. These gaskets are high temperature, high pressure gasket sealing by wedge contact or single line contact. These gaskets were having a mating flange with groove, its pitch diameter will also same of gaskets. In this gaskets the mating groove sealing (seating area) and gaskets sealing area are required surface finish are to be finer than the limits given in standards. R type and RX type gaskets are used in same groove with different pressure. These gaskets are used were high pressure area up to 20,000PSI. These gaskets hardness must be lesser than the mating flange. Rubber coated rings are available for testing the valve, chokes and Christmas trees which will prevent the damage during testing. After completion of testing same may be replaced with new gaskets.
