RUBBER GASKETS (WITH / WITHOUT INSERT)

Steel Inserted Rubber gaskets are used as specific sealing type. These rubber steel gasket is widely used for low stress flange applications such as plastic & Glass Reinforced Epoxy (GRE) flanges. These gasket is a hybrid gasket comprising a rubber sheath reinforced a steel ring with the O-ring profile on the inner diameter reduces the seal surface area & therefore drastically reduces bolt torque requirements, making it ideal for low stress flange applications. Temperatures up to 200°C are achievable with the correct rubber selection.. These gasket is supplied as standard with the steel core is carbon steel. Gaskets with a core of stainless steel can be supplied to order. The gasket is shape-stable and hence very easy to fit.
